Gorehound

The Gorehound is a terrible creature. It is part human, part deranged animal, and is bent on destroying life. It feeds on the flesh, but petulantly, dismissively, like a cat. It's extremely powerful, has limited stamina, but high explosive movement. It is intelligent, in a primitive way, and it lives without social structure, although there is always a pecking order as it meets its fellow clan members. They communicate non-verbally, with physical acts.

Appearance:

The Gorehound is light gray and has quad arms, two legs and a long sinewy stomach. It runs on the first four extremities, and grabs hold with the first. The jaw is elongated to the neck, which can spread to more than a 90 degree angle. Inside are rows and rows of teeth arranged in rows. Its hide is thick and is difficult to puncture, seeing that it can rake itself with razor-sharp claws and not harm it. Each leg, apart from the last, has claws at the end of its fingers to rend and sunder.

It's fur is long, and resembles a woolly mammoths - clumped together in thick strands. It's eyes are yellow and red, changing based on its mood. It has ten eyes, all around its head.
