- old: “Ah yes, the Gorehounds… I’m so sorry about that,” the boy said, his voice growing somber. His voice aged a thousand years and his body followed. A beard, longer than a whip, grew furiously, enveloping the old man’s feet. His skin grew wrinkly, his cheeks hollow. For a moment, the oversized clothes seemed to fit him, but then he shrunk back down, his spine curving and shrinking.
- grown up: The person in front of Tom was still old, but this one still had some black in his hair and his beard was neat and trimmed. He resembled a respected blacksmith, a man whose hands knew work.
