Appearance

Kimberly is fourteen years old. She has black hair and soft blue eyes. Her nose is small, and she has full lips. Her cheeks are constantly red and have dimples. She has a slight case of acne on her nose, but that doesn't distract anyone but Kimberly. Her straight hair is cut to her shoulder blades and she usually has it in a pony tail, bun or braid. She is lithe, but hides incredible endurance. She is very active and talkative and usually wears a skirt over her knees, long socks and an old t-shirt tucked behind her shirt. She wears brightly colored sneakers.

Personality

Kimberly is one hell of a girl. She can outwit adults, and is sometimes surprised by that fact. She respects her elders, shows deference, as long as they do not act in conflict with logic. When she talks to people, she listens well, and tells what kind of problems / issues / wrongness she heard and corrects it. She never wants to say I told you so, but often does involuntarily. She has a narrow, but not tight set of friends, mainly because she is likeable and imaginative. She brightens the room, is the life of the party, when she's not being a ass.

She doesn't have a favorite place to hang, but rather be elsewhere all the time. Being alone at a place for too long makes her chafe and she becomes uncomfortable, so she moves around. That's why she hangs with Tom a lot, since he is all about movement and planning and making things interesting. This means that classes are sometimes a problem, as it is too simple and she gets bored, so she can on occasion act out. If they force her to stay, to not move, to be bored, she'd get angry, her temper flaring and would earn herself penance.

Kimberly's only secret is why she was on the Sanct Train, that she hasn't shared with anyone, even Tom. It is a memory too painful, so she constantly runs away from it, and nothing on this world would make her relieve that monstrosity.

When she is Anna Dia, she shows all of those, but is more crass, more to the point. Her patience is gone, but she often shows a willingness to help, especially those she sees that are making stupid errors. She doesn't point them out like Kimberly - she makes an action to show it, whether it be to save him or to make a grunt of displeasure. Anna drinks alcohol and it is only then that her temper flares, otherwise she remains cool and collected (or even aloof). She isn't as likeable or charming as Kimberly, not until she is alone with a person, with whom she feels comfortable. Anna has a favorite surrounding, which is her room, where she can finally be alone with her thoughts. She feels like most of the time she is following someone, but she'd rather be her own boss, do what she wants, but she feels too confused, too messed up to actually do that. She has no quarrel with stabbing someone, if she can justify it in her mind (this then causes that every time someone needs to be offed, that she has an argument with the one who hired her). She can do underhanded things as long as it is not personal, but her instinct is to pawn it off to someone else, if she can.

The reader would like Anna to succeed, because she wants to see who she is, why is she so confused, and become the person she was meant to be.
